What Are The Requirements?

Listed below are the minimum hardware requirements necessary to operate MHO DirectWave wireless Internet:

Windows Machines *

  • Pentium II class 400Mhz CPU (or greater)
  • 128 MB of RAM
  • One available ISA or PCI slot or Ethernet connection
  • Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows XP Operating system
  • CD ROM drive
  • Original Operating System Software and Utilities disk or CD-Rom
  • Web browser and e-mail program supplied as required

Unix/Linux Machines *

  • Pentium class 400 MHz CPU (or greater)
  • 64 MB of RAM
  • One available ISA or PCI slot or Ethernet connection
  • Original Operating System Software and Utilities disk or CD-ROM

Macintosh Machines *

  • PowerMac or higher
  • 128 MB of RAM
  • 10BaseT Ethernet connection
  • Mac OS 7.6.1 or greater
  • CD ROM drive
  • Web browser and e-mail program supplied as required

* MHO Networks technicians will do software configuration on Windows machines only.
